Chopper Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Popular California Shoreline
An aircraft soaring near a crowded southern California beach unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, finally dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers looked on.
Videos shared on the internet show the aircraft commencing to spiral above the beach then descending near the perimeter of the coast, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Information
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five persons were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Information on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
