Pakistan Halts the Proteas' 10-Test Winning Streak.
The left-arm pacer claimed four wickets in the final innings following going wicketless in the initial session.

The visitors 269 (Tony de Zorzi 104; Noman Ali 6-112) & 183 (Dewald Brevis 54; Shaheen 4-33, Noman Ali 4-79)
The hosts secured a 93-run victory
Pakistan halted the reigning champions South Africa's winning streak by completing a 93-run win in an entertaining and competitive opening Test in Lahore.
South Africa, whose 10-Test winning streak in the longest format ended with a win against the Aussies in the World Test Championship final in the month of June, were bowled out for 183 chasing 277.
Starting the day on 51 for two, they saw the dismissal of century-maker De Zorzi leg before wicket to left-arm quick Afridi to the third delivery of the day to push the tightly balanced chase in Pakistan's favor.
Slow left-armer Noman Ali, who secured 10 wickets for 191 runs in the match, removed Tristan Stubbs for 2 and bowled Dewald Brevis, who put up a fight with a rapid 54.
Off-spinner Sajid Khan also capitalized on sharp turn to end opener Ryan Rickelton's stay - he faced 145 deliveries for 45 - and Shaheen returned in the afternoon session to knock over the tail with a impressive exhibition of reverse-swing bowling.
He had Verreynne leg before for 19 and dismissed Subrayen and Rabada to seal the win.
It was both sides' first match of the 2025-27 Test championship cycle and propels the hosts directly into the number two spot after table-toppers the Australian team.
The win was built around key performances of 93 by opener Imam and, importantly, all-rounder Salman Agha which boosted them to 378.
From there slow bowlers Noman and Sajid took advantage of favourable home conditions, as they did in their Test series win over England last year, to sustain their advantage.
The next and last match starts on 20 October.
